All the battles I lost and the battles I won, this will be the one

Just how perfect is Hope & Glory as an acoustic ballad? Gosh I've been so madly hyper all day, but this has just taken me by surprise and calmed me down and I'm swaying along. Beautiful.

He did the very same thing with "Cara Mia" didn't he? I remember hearing the slow acoustic version of that in a shop in Stockholm 2 years ago.

I didn't expect to like this, but you're right, it seems to have that calming influence...just like you I need a bit of calming down so this did the job nicely.

The album's out next week!! I might just wait till I go to Gothenburg and buy it there, I'd better save some hand luggage allowance for all the CDs I'd love to bring home. And the Melodifestivalen CD.

Really looking forward to going to Gothenburg but I'm so p***** off by faithful travelling companion at the moment - he couldn't make it more obvious that he doesn't want to go. He's not in my good books just now!!

Sorry I meant to say the Melodifestivalen DVD!! I guess I'm just so distraught and stressed out just now I'm even getting my disc formats mixed up ha ha!!

Oh no! Thats not allowed. Give him a clip round the ears and tell him to buck up! This trip means so much to you, don't let him ruin your excitement. If all else fails, I'm sure me or Rach would go with you, hehe. We'd be very obediently excited on your behalf :) I hope he's just having a grumpy week and that he cheers up soon.

As for the acoustic stuff, he seems to do it alot actually. There is indeed one for Cara Mia, and there's one for Brother Oh Brother too, although I'd call it more unplugged than acoustic. There's another I found last night too, of Impossible, which is a new track from his album. Only heard the original once, but love the acoustic version so much. It really shows off his voice. Had a complete Måns meltdown last night, hehe.

Clip around the ear was successfully administered last night and then I made him sit and listen to a load of Salem songs...which he didn't actually hate, so progress is being made!! I think it was just a grumpy week (or month or year or whatever) anyway if Salem does the world-domination thing and comes over to the UK I'll know who to call upon for obedient excitement!!!
